Feast your eyes on this rich necklace and earring set. It could have come from a Renaissance portrait of an Italian noblewoman. The necklace has a focal point of a large round medallion with ornate rope metalwork around the edges. The metalwork  surrounds an oval cabochon red stone. The pendant measures 1.5” around. There is some wear to the back. It has a lovely weight to it, but is not signed. It is suspended from a heavy rope chain measuring 24” long with a spring clasp.
